Trends Tracker is a free tool that helps you track popular content from competitors, better understand current viewer interests, and find ideas for creating new videos. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to set up and use this tool.

Getting Started

1. Log in to your Yoola Dashboard.

2. Open Trends Tracker. In the menu on the left, find and click on the Trends Tracker section.

3. Create a new channel database.

This allows you to group competitors or channels of a specific topic into separate lists for convenient tracking.

4. Add channels.

Enter the names or links to the channels you are interested in and add them to the created database.

Alternatively, you can use the automatic search for thematic channels.

5. View results.

After adding channels, click the "View Trending Videos" button.

The system will then show you videos that are starting to gain views at an "anomalously" high rate. These are your potential trends.

Each video card displays key metrics:

  • Growth: The trendiness percentage

  • Views/Subs (%): The ratio of views from subscribers versus non-subscribers

  • Video language

  • Video duration

You can also use quick actions: Hide a video to remove it from results, or Add to Favorites to save it for future tracking.

Additional Analytics Features

Trends Tracker offers flexible settings for more precise research:

Content Filtering

You can view long-form videos and Shorts separately to analyze different content formats, as well as use a wide range of additional filters. You can filter results by 30 or 90 days to define the timeframe for displayed videos. Choose 30 days to spot the freshest trends.

Group and Individual View

Analyze trends for the entire group of channels simultaneously or for each individual channel in the list.

Sorting

Use sorting by various metrics to highlight the most significant performance indicators.

Summary

Trends Tracker is a convenient tool for regular observation of the YouTube market. It allows you to:

  • Track trends in real-time.

  • Analyze competitor strategies.

  • Understand which topics are currently being discussed the most.

We recommend trying this tool in your workflow to find inspiration and improve your channel's performance!
